I am not the clothes I wear. I am not the music I listen to. I am not my religion. I am not my friends or family, or any of the people I am associated with. I am not my weight. I am not my appearance. I am me, and there are many things that make me who I am. But you cannot take one of those things and make a judgement. You cannot judge someone based purely on what you think you know or what you can see. There is more to everyone than we think. My friends, my appearance, my religion, my style; none of those things define me. See, none of us can be defined. Today’s society is full of judging and assumptions, and the world would be a much better place if things weren’t like that. What happened to it being what’s on the inside that counts? Not judging people based on a few aspects of their looks or their personality, or their past? Who are we to put labels on people? Everyone is different. Everyone is unique, and although people may seem to be a certain way, doesn’t give us the right to stereotype them. Reblog this if you are one of the few people who will never judge someone before you really know them. Reblog this if you are against discrimination.
